I told My Mom

I finally told my mom I was pregnant & she couldnt be anymore happier I'm so surprise she took it so well & thats she happy, now I can just sit back & hope my pregnancy goes well, how did everybody else parents react??

My mother-in-law screamed.
She didn't think we were planning any more babies, so when she found out, she was over the moon happy.

I thought my mom was going be so mad but she over excited

my 1st I was 18 and my parents where very unhappy about it, it took a long time for them to come around to the idea that I was a mother even after my son was born.

this pregnancy im much more stable in my life & not living at home so they are way more excited even though my mom was a little upset only because pregnancies are very hard on me and Im high risk during pregnancy and she worries for me.

I was 17, at first my mom just kept saying omg, omg.. Lol she couldn't believe it, but after all the disbelief she was happpy & excited.

I was 19 with my first, and I told my mom and she goes "what the smurf?!"

I ended up telling my mom I was pregnant, and then miscarrying. About 3 weeks after I miscarried I said I think I am pregnant again, and she laughed at me and said youre kidding right?
I weren't kidding.

I was 17 too. When I told her I was already far along, because I was not living at home. Then I left my ex, and moved home. She found out when she saw me.

  LOL, my mom was standing right beside me in the Drs office when the nurse said " Uhh you're ovaries are hurting because you're pregnant!" Meand my mom just looked at each other in disbelief lol

My dad told my mom this time around.
I didn't tell him I was pregnant, but I asked him to watch my daughter because I had a doctor's appointment.
He goes "I bet it's a girl."
He was right.

I called my mom crying, I was 19. I never wanted children. She knew the second she answered what was up.

I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and we are both so happy. I'm 20 now. My mom and my SO have been crazy awesome. I can't wait to meet my little boy  

Well my was not mad or happy she... i had to tell her over the phone because they live in AK and i live in ID and i just started crying and told her and she was just like stop cryin its ok you need to breath and calm down... i felt so much better once she knew it felt like i could finally be happy about my baby girl... with was born may 1st xD on her due date

i love reading all these stories! and its so great when the parents reactions are good! =) my mom didnt know i was pregnant or even had a daughter until my daughter was 8 months old. my mom goes in and out of jail and has been homeless and now is currently in mexico in a rehab program and still hasnt met my daughter who just turned 2 in april. she was happy to hear about her though =) im happy she at least knows that she exists

Well your not exactly a "child" anymore, your an adult in the eyes of the law. Also, your already pregnant, you've already had sex - what's the point in getting really upset once it's already done? Time to move on and she may as well be happy and enjoy her grandbaby. Congrats, don't stress stuff - and definitely enjoy your pregnancy.

Me and my mom found out together at the doctor..she was shocked and disappointed but happy because I had graduated and started college already..my mom and grandma already gave him nicknames and my mom brings something new for him everyday lol and he still has 12 weeks before he will be here
