Baby movement @ 17 wks

Were your babies more active at this time??? During the day or night???
It's probably me freaking for no reason here. I've had spotting my whole pregnancy, my OB can't find any reason as to why I've had the spotting. Nada. I had 3 more wipes of blood this morning when I woke up, we haven't had sex in awhile, etc. The only reason I'm a little more cautious about it is because I normally feel her moving throughout the day & at night.... where as yesterday I only felt her move when I pushed on my stomach & today the same thing.
I mean maybe she's tired... I know she's still little.... just worries me due to the spotting & the fact that she's been "on the go" for the past 2 weeks, all throughout the day/night.
Thanks

They LO may have switched positions, but if you are really concerned contact L&D or the Dr. on call at your OB office.

My LO is sometimes very active some days and then hardly moves other days and I'm thirty weeks. Like yesterday I only felt him if I laid down. Today I woke up to him kicking the smurf out of me. She's still little so you may times with out feeling her. If your really concerned call your doc and see what she says... Good luck mama!

My second LO moved all day and night since about 16 weeks but he did have an occasional "lazy day". But if your concerned, give your OB a call

I don't think I'm concerned enough to go to the ER or anything. If I had more spotting I would be, or if it turned into actual blood I guess. Spotting is normal for me, as much as that stinks
I just hate that I am feeling her less right now AND had the spotting. KWIM? Maybe I'll lay down & see if I feel her... lol We are going to be busy all day today which I was yesterday too, so Idk if maybe that's why?

The busier I was the less i would feel him. Lay down for a little, and drink something cold.

I was reading ahead at next weeks page for 18 weeks & it said that.... the busier you are the less you feel them.... the more low key & "lazy" you are, the more you feel them. I've been sitting on the couch for 2 hrs though & haven't felt her! But I will drink a water & lay down (finally get off the computer lol)

Lol keep us updated! I'm sure she will start moving soon!

My baby has never been really active. She only moves drastically a few times a day (I'm 30 weeks). But when I was like 17-20 weeks she was a lot more active. I think it just changes from pregnancy to pregnancy.

So weird how different pregnancies can be.
Well another mommy who is due on the same day as me has been experiencing the same thing, so that makes me feel better as well.
I did start feeling Mallory moving today. It made me feel a lot better. Still wasn't as active as she's been but the fact that I felt her on her own, made me feel good. I just hope she will consistently kick me starting like.... next week, preferably

When I was around 17 weeks with all my pregnancies, the kick counts were random. Like one day my baby would kick a smurf load..and the next it'd only be a few times. And I constantly spotted during all of my pregnancies. Worried the smurf out of me, but the doctors assured me that it was fine. As long as it isn't BRIGHT red blood with tons of cramping..you're good!

Yup! My LO is the same exact way. I'm almost 30wks and for the past few day's he hasn't been moving much at all. I gave him just a little caffeine last night to see if I could get him moving...that did the trick, I was actually sorry I did it afterwards lol I'm starting to get sore in there he's so active.
Now today he really hasn't been doing a whole lot. Just the occasional squirm or kick to the bladder

Im 20w2d and i still only feel my lil girl occasionally. It's gentle movements and usually i dnt feel it unless im laying down. Sometimes I dnt even notice it. I dnt really stress over it b/c i know it could just be her position and the fact that shes not that big and isnt quite strong enough to really make me feel it. She always seems to be just fine. I have a check up tomorrow actually, hopefully the measurements that have been taken for far are good.

I've been feeling this baby since 14 weeks and it's been real off and on. We went to the beach over the weekend (Im 18 wks) and it was like she wasn't even there. And then she kicked Sunday for a while, Monday not as much and today she's been doing gymnastics in there, I swear. I've always read that you shouldn't look too much into how much they move until around 28 weeks which is when you start doing kick counts. But as for night and day, she's a night owl most definitely. And yeah, its a lot more when I'm laying around.
