hAS ANYONE TRIED EITHER OF THESE???
i WANT TO GET BACK IN SHAPE AND WAS WONDERING WHICH IS BETTER IF NOT BOTH!!!
I havent been working out much even though i got a membership when i found out i was pregnant. I dont feel comfortable at the gym big and pregnant having everyone staring at me. It was bad enough when i wasnt pregnant. So im hoping this will help a lil bit!!!
I'm not a health nut or excercise freak i just want to stay in shape!!!

I've done pilates in the past, but I stopped for some dumb reason and I gotta pick it up again. It worked really well, I noticed I was more flexible and leaner after about a month of doing it for an hour or so 3-4 days a week.

I have never done pilates until I started trying to get pregnant. I have this CD and there is a 20 - 30 minute workouts for each trimester. So it's actually designed for pregnancy. I belive it's bySarah Picot. Try googling it. I bought it online and I forgot the website...sorry.
I would suggest doing pilates designed for pregnancy b/c you can't lay on your back late in pregnancy and I belive there are a lot of moves that would have you do that, but if it's designed for pregnancy, they only have you do moves that you can do safely while pregnant.

I am due in August and have been using both a Pilates for Pregnancy DVD workout as well as a Prenatal Yoga DVD. I was an avid Pilates student pre-pregnancy and have found it a great substitute for classes. The Yoga workout is better however, brutal, but better.
