Twins after a miscarriage?

I was just browsing around and came across a lot of stories of people conceiving twins immediately after a miscarriage! Has anyone heard of this or experienced it without fertility drugs?

its not surprising because people ovulate after miscarriages or abortions like crazy. They even say NOT to have sex for x amount of time because you have an extremely high chance of becoming pregnant. A friend of mine got pregnant a week after she had an abortion....insane...

I got pregnant with twins after my twin miscarriage. I lost one though at 7ish weeks. I conceived them around 4 months after the miscarriage. They were identical twins that shared a sac, mono/mono twins.

My friend got pregnant with a singleton last year I believe? She miscarried at around 8 weeks and was shocked to find out she is now 18 weeks pregnant with twins.
