there's confrontation, then there's right and wrong....my kids not even hear yet and that just pissed me off! i would def tell her something especially upon the basis that you had to by your daughter her own noodle anyway.

I would bi*** her out big time. It's not her kid to discipline and it wasn't her property to take away. That is extremely uncool.

Screw that I'd be pissed. I don't know why your SO didn't say anything. She would get an earful from me if I were in your position. Her kids won't share but yours should? And she has NO right to punish your child. What a bunch of bullies. I'd go up one side of her and down the other. I feel so bad for your daughter. Tell your SO that wanting to avoid confrontation is admirable, but sometimes it's necessary.

Children learn from their parents behavior. What that woman did was wrong. Letting that woman get away with doing that and not saying anything will show your daughter that people have the right to treat her that way and that she shouldn't stick up for herself.

Just reading this upsets me.

If i were there, and the lady said that to my kid and attempted to take away her toy, id be upset and tell her straight up not to parent my child, or touch her toys.

But just the fact that you weren't there, and all that happened (i can't freaking believe she had the nerve to take away another kids toy), and your SO didn't do anything about it and your child cryed and cryed for her toy back, id be PISSED.

You DEFINITELY need to say something to her.

I'm going to say something the next time I see her. I usually see her every day so I am definitely going to talk to her. SO is pissed and keeps saying "if it happens again then say something". Not sure why he is so afraid of me saying something ... it's annoying.

Just asked SO what he would do if that happened to him and he said " I'd body slam that bitch" lol
But I would definately go tell that woman she had better not EVER touch my LO's stuff again, or there would be some problems.
Its okay for her kids to not want to share, but its wrong when your LO doesnt want to. Smh, People are ignorant.
