Quoting ~Ivana331~:“ I am just wondering how many of you mommys suffered from nausea and vomiting during labor. Did you have ... [snip!] ... sick during labor. Also, if you did get sick did it last the entire labor, ot just in the beginning, or just towards the end?”
Quoting acharper:“ I got sick the day after... but that could of been due to the c-section and not eating in over 24 hours... ... [snip!] ... diet.. chicken broth for breakfast and cherry jello, that has no gel is not my idea of a breakfast I could keep down anyway..”oh that must have been painful trying to vomit with your stomach having just been cut open.
Quoting Car-Car:“ I was nauseous while in labor and I was throwing up while I was pushing, but the doc told me that was ... [snip!] ... I had very bad morning sickness with my daughter and it lasted for about 6 months, but it was completely gone after that.”Yeah I read that the pain meds can really make you sick.
Quoting Car-Car:“ yes and they did! That is why this time I will be trying it all natural!!! Hopefully I can do it!”yeah I am going to try and go all natural as well.

Quoting Cassidie:“ im 35 weeks and my morning sickness is just going away.. it was gone for a while and now its coming ... [snip!] ... at frist that i couldnt hold any food down or be near food... i even told my dr and we tried so many things.. nothing helped...”

Quoting Car-Car:“ Well be sure and tell me how it goes and if I am crazy or not!! LOL People keep telling me I'm crazy ... [snip!] ... the few I know who have done it, they swear by it and so I figure I tried it with drugs and hated it, so I'll try it without.”lol will do! I am afraid of getting an epidural, which is one of the main reasons I am going to try to go natural, plus I nevr take any pain meds unless I really need them. I don't even like taking tylenol. And to be honest, if I had a choice I would even say no to the IV. I would rather just chew ice and sip water to keep myself hydrated. I hope I can handle the pain!

[snip!] ... at frist that i couldnt hold any food down or be near food... i even told my dr and we tried so many things.. nothing helped...”sounds simialr to me but a tad bit worse. I had it up until around 20-22 weeks then it came back again around 29 weeks and lasted for a couple of weeks. Now I am fine, thank god! I have nly gained 13 lbs thus far, which is the only sorta good thing that came from the morning sickness. I think once during the 1st trimester I actually went 2 days without anything! I tried water and couldn't keep it down so I just gave up. I was pretty much passed out those two days and I probably should have gone to the ER, but since I was home alone, I didn't know how bad I was.
