My son is 2.5 and has started with this.

Not so much playing though, I would say more on the lines of "discovering" lol

None of my boys have been huge touchers. We've just told them its a private thing for their rooms the handful of times we've seen it.

When my son was around 6 i caught him playing with himself in the living room. I just told him you don't do that here or around people etc... I explained that he can do that in his room with the door shut. He's 9 now and i never caught him doing it again(thank god). I guess he listened and does it in his room.

All my boys do it. Ages 4, 3 & 10 months. It's natural, IMO. Now if they do it when we have guests or, like my 3 year old does it, he puts his hands down his pants wherever we're at. Lol I simply tell him, no one wants to see that.. Do it on your own time. lol

Owen is barely 2 and whenever his diaper is off, guess where his hands go? LOL

My son is almost 5. He doesn't play with it all that much, but he'll tell me, "Look Mom, my penis is huge!"
