Today is the day!

We are on our way to So Cal to meet with a surrogate agency to look into possibly using a gestational carrier to have our next baby because of my fertility and health issues. I've really been going back and forth about it but I'm excited and nervous about the meeting. Wish us luck!

Did she use a GC? Maybe I will look into that agency as well.

Go to the beach!! I was over in that area yesterday at the Block of Orange & then took DD to the beach afterwards.
The weather at the beach is amazing

Oh we will   We're spending the weekend in Newport. I can't go more than a month without going to the beach haha.

I'm not sure what a GC is, but it was a gay couple, they used a donor eggs and each of their sperms, and got 2 babies from 1 carrier.

Oh ok. A GC is a gestational carrier, they carry the embryo of the intended parents so the baby has no genetic link to the GC. A gay couple obviously wouldn't be able to do that so they just had a regular surrogate  

Well it went really well, I really liked the people and the agency but I really keep going back and forth about it. I feel kind of selfish for wanting someone else to carry my baby. We haven't tried IVF and I'm thinking maybe we should try it before we go through this. But that is expensive and with my problems I still may lose the baby and I'll have to give myself blood thinning shots throughout the whole pregnancy again, that really sucked. I don't know...
