Thank you! Nice to meet you. I have never met somebody on this site who has gone through the exact same thing that I have.
 

Never heard of that before. Iwas onMaterna prenatal vits and my doc told me that everything that Ineeded was in there.. When I was pregnant with my daughter, mymidwife said the exact same thing

Some people need higher doses than others. Sometimes 800mcg isnt enough.   In my case it wasnt.

Im TTC number 3, and I am on a One A Day Vitaman and it has 0.4mg of folic acid. Is that the same at 400mg folic acid, or should I be taking a folic acid supliment along with my daily vitaman, or should I go straight on Prenatels?

Yes .4mg equals 400mcg. And you definitely need a supplement if that's all the folic acid you're getting. Women TTC should have AT LEAST 800 mcg of folic acid daily. Most women I know take 1200 mcg (myself included). Just don't take your multivitamin if you're going to take prenatals.

Ok thanks. After I posted my previous reply, I was starting to wonder if i was taking enough. I am only taking the .4mg. I am going to go out and get some prenatels tonight and stop taking my multi vitamen.. Thanks.
