Some babies just won't take them though, you can't force her.

She always takes her paci, except when she wants to nurse back to sleep sometimes.

Well, you can keep trying of course but it might just be more effort then nursing her. If it's only 30 seconds then it can't be too bad. Maybe just offer the paci first, and sometimes if she starts to stir don't respond that first second to see if she's just making noises/moving and won't fall back asleep on her own.

You would probably have a lot more success if you were not co-sleeping.

But I loves my co-sleeping!   I'm fine with however turns out, but I am going to keep trying for a little while.

I don't understand why moms are so judgmental, this forum is for support not judging. A lot of babies are just nursing for comfort at night...not hungry. Especially after 6 month plus....a mother knows. I'm sure this mom knows if her baby is hungry or not. If mom is not rested especially working, then baby will not benefit.

Slowly night weaning is possible...try and nurse her less & less every time. Eventually your lo will get it. Comfort & love her!
