Am I a mean mummy?

According to one of SO's friends I'm a mean mummy becaue I don't let my 15 month old have snacks. He gets three square meals a day, plus afternoon tea if he's acting hungry. If he's hungry any other time he gets water in his silly cup.ive been told on more than one occasion that I'm obsessed with what LO eats, but my SO is just coming from down from being morbidly obese and I struggle with weight due to medications I'm in for psoratic arthritis,
Should I relax on what I let LO eat?

If he's hungry, i'd let him eat.

Well studies show its better to eat 6 small healthy meals a day vs 3.
If he's hungry maybe give him fruits or veggies to snack on?

I say you should relax and instead make sure he gets plenty of exercise and doesn't eat smurf food.

I would let him snack if he wants. It is healthier to graze.

Yes you should relax a little. They say children need 3 meals a day & snacks in between. If he's hungry... feed him.

i think u should give him healthy snacks instead of just water if he acts hungry

They should have at least 2 snacks a day. One in between breakfast and lunch and another between lunch and dinner. And not like a huge snack maybe a couple apple slices and peanut butter or a fruit cup. Idk that's just what LOs pedi said and my son would go crazy if he didn't get a little snack in between meals

He never eats junk unless SO gets lazy and let's his have a few crackers with cheese for afternoon tea. Like last night for dinner he had chicken meat loaf, steamed broccoli and cauliflower and corn.
He gets as much exercise as. A crawler can get

Snacking can be healthy. Just do healthy snacks when LO is hungry between meals.

Not necessarily mean if you're looking out for his health, but make sure he is eating enough, if he's going through a growth spurt he may need more food from healthy snacks to help him grow

That's what I mean by afternoon tea ... He gets some cheese or a yoghurt or some melon at about 2pm.

Uhhh..give him healthy snacks in between each meal....
I thought that was a no-brainer?
My kids would be cranky as hell if I didn't give them any snacks what so ever.
And you give him tea/water if he gets hungry? wtf...
