Averies appt.

So when I was about 25 weeks preg. they found out that Averie has Kidney reflux. One kidney was bigger than the other one. They did u/s everyother week to make sure she was peeing and had enough fluid. After she was born, the did a Kidney scan, and it was at a stage 2. (1 being good and 5 being the worst.)
In March of 07, she had another one, stage 4-5. She is on daily amox. to prevent UTI's. And MOST kids/babies grow out of it.
Today she had her appt again, they did the kidney scan. And now its at a stage 2!!! Shes slowly growing out of it!! We were so happy! So they want to see her back in a year, stay on the Amox, to prevent the UTI's, and praying that there will be NO reflux!!

They said they will scan her till shes 4 years. if it shows improvement, then they will rule out surgery. They want to see babies grow out of it, before they do surgery!
Im just so happy. I worry when she runs a fever, I always think UTI. And then when I take her to the E.R. and they check her urine, its fine.

I would probably be paranoid too, She's going to be just fine mama!

Esp. when shes crying, shes fed, changed and so on, I think "are her Kidneys hurting?" "Is it hurting her to pee?" just rambling!
