Quoting bia.:"   My parents were around alot for my sister, she still drank and had sex, oh and got pregnant at 15, ooooooops."

It does happen. But not all parents are supportive. Her about me says she found out last weekend. I'm sure her parents are shocked and freaking out. They could come around. I was 18 and it took my parents a long time to come around. A baby is not just changing this girl's life, it is changing their entire family. They might come around, they might not.

!!!

It is our responsibility as a parent to be there for our children, no matter what.

i don't understand why she is playing the pity card.. there is a reason 21 is the legal drinking age, i'm pretty sure her parents didn't support her going to a party and getting drunk and "probably" smurfing some random guy.
It's about choices, having sex, getting drunk are ADULT choices, if you can't handle the ADULT consequences, then DON'T DO IT.

aw

my mom wanted me out of the house, my dad said no. then she said i could stay for a month, until i got used to LO and being a mom. I stayed pretty much 3 years. I moved out for a bit here and there, and now SO and I have our own house. My parents weren't keen on that idea, either, but they know I just don't care anymore what they think. My happiness & LO's has to come before theirs.

That is what teens do. Its what most of us did and the pressures of being that age arent ever going to go away. I just hope she gets the love and support that she deserves.

Life is gonna be hard..harder than you think. You probably thought it would be "cute" to get pregnant..but your cush left and now its not so cute. (i know people are gonna bash me on this, but im sorry..drunk or not..it is not hard to put a condom on, therefor im sure she didnt care if she got pregnant at the time.) ive been drunk on numerous occasions...the thought that sex = babies doesn just go away. Just wait..because right now is the easiest its going to be..just gonna get harder. However a baby is such a wonderful gift..so the hardships will be worth it. hopfully your parents won't be too hard on you.

Sorry but the REALITY is, not all teenagers think that way. In fact, most don't. I lost my virginity at 14, got drunk at 15, smoked pot at 16, did drugs at 18-19, then got pregnant at 19.....then I grew up and changed my life. And the funny thing is, my parents were super strict and I was a straight A student considered a "good girl" until I got to college and parties my ass off haha.

What's done is done. Why are you harping on what she shouldn't have done? That's not helpful. She obviously knows that now.

I can agree with this, but most people don't think about the consequences until after they happen. That's why consequences are a pain in the ass.
