thanks for the luck. All they have really done is check to see if i had a leak in my sac. They havent really done much. They say her kidneys and digestive system should be fine because every ultrasound she has different levels of fluid in her tummy. So we know she is swollowing it. Right now they are thinking since i was bleeding off and on for 2 weeks that my water either broke up my placenta pulled away (is that the samething?lol) so they are hoping if i dont leak anymore fluid i should start rebuilding, but i guess only time will tell.
YOU ARE AT ZERO!?!?! thats when my high risk doctor said he would get nervous. but thats nuts! are you still in the hospital?

that is VERY helpful actually. My boyfriend thinks he is a cute chunk butt now. lol. but we got on google and found babies that are 21 weeks (to see what ours looks like now) and then a little older and stuff.
We did decide that we are going to resusicate her no matter what (at first) then if everything starts going wrong with her mentally and phsyically. like, everything. then we will ease up and the medicine and just let God do his work.

oh my gosh. that just gave me a lot of hope. 28 weeks is my goal. If i go past that then wonderful.. obviously. But only 6 weeks in the hospital. maybe that just sounds better than a month and half. lol. but im so glad she's doing good. These happy stories make me feel so much better.
But also knowing the hard times will make it easier once i get there, then ill know a littlte bit what to expect.

My twins were born at 27 weeks. They are 8 weeks old today and will be coming home tuesday. They have made great progress in the NICU. I can't wait to get them home.

I came on here while i was in the hospital letting them know my problem and well just hearing everyone's story it made me feel really good! Just have a lot of faith everything will be better. besides girl develope faster than boys! I will pray for you. Just pray and watch God will answer your prayers!

yea zero i was like what? but its weird.. she acts like she has fluid upon fluid in there for as much as she moves around and kicks.. Her heart rate they say is awesome, and cant beleive what they see for this condition. But i just hope everything will be ok with ur lil ones lungs when she comes, im kinda nervous about what to expect myself, even though i am furthr than u are, but i been goin through having low fluid since 20 weeks.

they saw low fluid in me when i was 20 weeks as well. and, again, her heartbeat is always a strong 160 or 162. But after doing some research on low fluid, and after what the doctors tell me, i cant help but worry.
2 weeks ago i was at a "6" for fluid. the next weeks i dropped to a 3.5 and then last week i was at a 2. but in the past week i feel like i have gotten a little bigger in my tummy AND i quit bleeding and leaking clear cluid. So i am hoping that it went up. ill have to find out in 2 more weeks though... man this is so nerve racking GOOD LUCK

hey i just wanted u to know im still thinkin bout u and ur baby and praying for yall.....i think as long as u arent moving around alot u probably will be able to hold out....alot of women hold out for months....have they given u ur steroid shots yet??

not yet. May 27 they will "tell me my options" and my reg. doctor said that hopefully they will be able to start shots the 28th (at my regular dr. app.) Thanks for remembering about us!

I just had my baby on the 8th at 24 and 3 days. I have a lot of pics in my profile which might help you get an idea of what the baby is going to look like. I am scared to death. He stayed in for almost 2 weeks after my water broke. Long enough for them to give me steroids and I'm not sure why they are thinking of taking the baby. Once my water broke they said they would keep him in as long as possible. Estentially until my body forced him to be born. Godd luck hun, nobody should have to go through this.

its tough! i am one of those "dont worry until you have something to worry about" but my mind is constantly reeling about ok if i pick this up will it hurt the baby? or should i have had one more glass of water at supper, just in case? i mean i know it sounds silly but when they say dont lift anything AT ALL.. it kinda freaks me out when i do.
Anyway. Like you, my water broke too.. about 3 weeks ago. but i guess it sealed itself back up (that why they are thinking i have low fluid)
Have they told you anything about his health or if he'll have any delays?

It really is tough and i wish no mother or couple would have to go through the pain of having a preemie and then having the baby in the incubator. My daughter was out in the open for about 2 weeks on antibiotics for a week and a half. When i walked into the NICU and saw her in the incubator my heart broke! But it was for the best. She was on c pap for about 2 and a half weeks. But it is true that girls develope faster than boys. Just stay calm and don't move around too much and you should be good. My water never broke at all, i had to push for my water to brake. Sorry TMI! But the steroids shots help a lot! I only had to have 2 shots and well my baby is doing good.

im too emotional right now i shouldnt probably post. lol. i just woke up and its early and im sick. and i just want to cuddle and go back to bed. lol. but i must work.
My boyfriend is being so strong about this (in his own way) he doesnt talk about it really... but obviously im a person that NEEDS to talk about it or it will eat me away inside. I just dont know how ill be able to handle all that. i mean 2 weeks ya.. ya not that long, but when you are working and driving almost 2 hours to see your child just laying there.. its going to be way stressful and really hard.
BUT if they keep her in me. *even if everything turns out fine and they could garentee a perfectly healthy baby!* ill still worry that what if shes in there too long? what if shes not getting air or nutriants? what if her embilicord crushes like they say it may?

im sorry hunny....just try to focus on the positives like the fact that technology is wonderful...u will have great doctors...u will end up getting ur steroid shots before the baby is born....im sure she will be ok...and like the other woman said girls are alot stronger than boys..their survival rate is much higher....and there are plenty of women who have been through this and ya it was very rough but they have there babies now....im still praying for u...and like i said if u need tot alk to someone u can PM me...i dont care how emotional u are...ill still talk to u
