Quoting *Lindsey Loves Joey*:" are you open to adopting a child with a disability? (no right or wrong answer. its not for everyone) ... [snip!] ... disabled orphans/foster kids that they will absorb most of the costs of the adoption and make it as easy as they can for you."
Quoting Moses.:" You get adoption credit for adopting anyway, up to 10k of all adoption fees if your work doesn't cover ... [snip!] ... but had her work not had that program, she would have been reimbursed on her taxes. It's for all adoptions, not just disabled."right I just meant as some adoption agencies can charge fees for their services. I have looked into a few (wishful thinking I have a college degree to knock out and we want to look into home ownership before we get into it. I think we are 5-6 years away at the least before we will be ready to adopt) agencies, specifically those with disabled children that won't charge you a dime and really just want to find loving families for their children. That is really cool though about the credit thing! I didn't evne know that!

Quoting Moses.:" If you are interested in children, go to your state's dhhs site. Here they have a ton, and I mean a ton ... [snip!] ... a ton of kids listed that are open for adoption. Also, you can become a foster parent, and you'd already be qualified really. "
