1st trimester anxieties

posted 9th May
Anyone else just counting the days until the 1st trimester is over? I hate this time because it is so uncertain. Every twinge in my body gets my heart racing. Everytime I go to the bathroom I hold my breath until I see that I am not bleeding. I saw my babys heartbeat yesterday and now I am more nervous than ever! I just want my little bean to stay safe.

Don't stress yourself to much. Before you know it your baby will be here. We were at the same place you were not to long ago thinking the same thing you are now, and look we are almost ready to start week 37 and are down to 23 days left.

that is normal! I didn't with my first...but then I had a miscarriage and with this pregnancy I could not wait until the "safe zone" of the second trimester!

Welcome to motherhood. That worry feeling never ever goes away. You just want whats best for your little bean. That's normal.

I use to get nightmares every night when I was in my first trimester. They all ended with me bleeding. Now im soon to be ending my second trimester and those nightmares disapeered. Now I get dreams of me fighting with people while im pregnant.

Everyday that passes I breathe a sigh of relief that my little bean is still with me. I just never thought I would have so much love for something the size of a grain of rice. lol

I had my first pregnancy dream last night by the way.

That is what I keep telling myself that this is all in Gods hands and that it is something I can't control. I just wish telling myself that would help. lol

I am gald I am not the only one feeling this way I am also due in December 28th or 29th not to sure, don't worry hopefully we pass through this very quick I can't wait when I am in my second trimester. With both my first babies it was scary as well but once the 1st trimester pasted I was so relived andenjoying my pregnancy. I really want the summer to come that way I know I am half way their and I can feel more secure.  But over I am just so happy at the same time because God has granted me the oppurtunity to be a mother and also he will know what is best for the two of us.

That was defanitely me! I had a couple 1st trimester scares though so for me, the feeling of constant worry has not gone away...it has calmed down a bit though now that I'm in the 2nd trimester.

I think all this worry is just preparing you for a lifetime of the worry of being a mother!
