Curious umbillical cord ?

Does any know how long the babys umbillical cord is when you finally have your baby at around 40 weeks..I know its a weird question but im curious to know how long they are...

I have no idea. I know my sister was unable to deliver her son vaginally because his umbilical cord was too short for natural birth though.

they reckon the average is about 55cms, although between 12 inch and 36 inch is commong. Problems can arise during vaginal birth if the unbilical cord is short, as it doesnt allow the baby to decend. mine looked a lot longer from what i remember

As the cord gets longer, it generally coils around itself. The cord contains three blood vessels: two arteries and one vein.
