I'm ALIVE!!!!! (Kinda long and SOME TMI!!)

Hey everyone! Hope all is well with you ladies! It's been a ROUGH couple of weeks lately and stressful!!!!! So for startes, let me just tell you about my past 2 weeks.

On Tuesday, April 22nd, I had my doctors appt (an unusual one at that!). They did another vaginal exam to do another culture to make sure EVERYTHING was ok! While the doc was down there he goes..."HMMM"! Basically I have this extra piece of skin that goes from top to bottom of the opening of my va jay jay (tmi) ! He said I was born with it and he was surprised I could still have sex that more than 90% of women can NOT handle sex with it there! He did say that when I go into labor they will have to cut that piece of skin or I would NOT be able to have McKenzie vaginally! He then said that once it was gone I would experience sex in a WHOLE new way.....ok, I already ENJOY sex so does that mean I will want it even more??? HAHAHA SO then as I am leaving he says, oh yea, we need you to take your GD test (which I HAVEN'T been looking forward to taking.)

On Wednesday, April 23rd, I get the GD test done.

On Tuesday, April 29th, I get a call from my doctors office saying that I need to call and make an appointment to take the 3 hour GD test. They told me that the one I had taken on the 23rd was HIGH. They wanted it to be under 140 and I was at 186. So I called and made the earliest appt I could find which was Tuesday, May 6th. (Now the FUN begins!!!!!)

On Thursday, May 1st, after work I head straight for Jacksonville. I had a BUSY day on Friday becuz my younger sister was graduating on Friday afternoon, getting married Saturday afternoon and then leaving EARLY sunday for Washington State. That is where her husband is being stationed in the Navy.

On Friday, May 2nd, my mother and I go to pick up my bridesmaid dress from the seamsstress and she had JUST started working on it and said it would NOT be done until 4 pm. Well, I told her to call me when she was done becuz we were meeting at a restaurant for dinner at 4pm and the graduation was at 7pm. So I get a call at 3pm saying that my dress would NOT be done until Saturday! Keep in mind, she has now had the dress for TWO weeks!!! So I ask her what time they open up on Saturday and she says 9am! I told her I would be there at 9am DEMANDING my dress wether it was completed or NOT! I was FURIOUS at this point!!! So at 7pm the graduation ceremony started! I am soooo proud of my lil sis!!! She graduated with a bachelor degree in Photograpy and fine arts! Magnum Kum Laude (sp??) might I add! And after that I was STILL hungry! So at 10pm, I order pizza for EVERYONE! YUM YUM!

On Saturday, May 3rd, I go to pick up my dress and my mom says I need to you to run to the store for wine glasses (my poor sister forgot to leave out the wine glasses and 4 of the bridesmaids dresses and they were already on the way to Washington!) and a gift card holder. So I had already gotten in the shower and put the JUNK in my hair that I needed and went to get my dress and go to AC Moore. I get to the seamstress (hoping my dress isn't done so mom WOULDN'T have to pay for it) and it was done! $86.50 later. I was PISSED! My mom told me it would be no more than $40 and had already given me $60. So I pay it and leave and go to AC Moore. I get back to my moms house at 9:30. We had to be Downtown at the Landing by 10:15am to start pictures.....yea....my and my older sis were fashionably late at 10:30! But I got my dress on and was trying to style my hair with bobby pins and it was NOT WORKING for me, so my sister helped. My hair actually turned out very well!!! I had to do my makeup on the way downtown! The wedding was GREAT and I had a good time, MINUS the grooms man (that walked with me) trying to make out with me before the ceremony! Then I didn't even have my arm in his arm tight becuz he was already drunk (he had been up til 5am drinking....he STUNK) and he couldn't even walk straight. So I figured, if he fell, he would be falling by HIMSELF becuz he WASN'T going to take me with him.....HAHAHA Then AFTER the ceremony with allllll of the first dances and such, I eventually cut in to dance with my BIL and then the same guy tried to dance with me again! I had to SHOVE him off of me becuz EVERYTIME I told him NO and that I DIDN'T want to dance, he grabbed me tighter and WOULDN'T let go! SO yea, after that everything was fine and WASN'T botherd by him anymore and I actually enjoyed the rest of my evening!

On Sunday, May 4th, It was sooooo hard to see my sister leaving! We have just gotten CLOSE within the past few years and now she is CLEAR ACROSS THE COUNTRY!!!!!! My dad and I cried like BIG babies.....lol

On Tuesday, May 6th I took the 3 hour GD test and was told my doctor's office would have the results on Wednesday! This time they upped the sugar intake from 50mg to 100mg......YUCCKY!!!!!

On Wednesday, May 7th I called my doc office and was told I did NOT have GD. That was such a SIGH of RELIEF for me! I asked her the results and this is what she told me. Fasting I was at 85. The 1st hour they wanted me under 190 and I was at 176. The 2nd hour they wanted me under 165 and I was at 106. Then the 3rd and LAST hour they wanted me under 145 and I was at 81. So after that, I felt sooooo much better!

So, after saying all that, I'm sorry I have been MIA!!!! I do hope everyone is doing ok and wasn't stressed out like I had been!!!! I promise I will be on more often now......lol
