Size of my baby bump...

So, I know this is rather petty, but I saw a friend of mine last night who is about 3 weeks behind me and she looks pregnant and cute as can be. Then there's me...I am looking like I ate too many Krispy Kreame doughnuts! WTF is up with that!?! All I have EVER wanted was to be pregnant, look pregnant, feel pregnant, etc. For so long we tried, and we finally became pregnant. I thought I'd have everything associated with it. Hell no! I almost feel jipped!
I didn't have morning sickness, which most people said was a blessing. I may have had crazy cravings, but my eating habits really haven't changed. The only weight I've gained is around my middle looking like I am just an overeater of carbs and/or sweets! I'm sure there's more, but I guess I just have to look at it from different angles. I was 30 lbs overweight when I got pregnant. That could have something to do with it. I also realize that everyone is different, but I just want that "cute-ness" that pregnant women get. I told my hubby he has to take pictures of me so I can see for myself. Sometimes they tell more than what I actually see in the mirror.
Anyway, thanks for letting me vent.

I guess without a picture...I don't know what to say!
I am about 30# overweight, but this is my 2nd pregnancy and I think I am showing already. (I am aware, though, that it's really just my ab muscles getting lax and MY belly hanging out.) No matter, I am wearing maternity clothes so I LOOK more preggo rather than fat. I have noticed that I look smaller in normal clothes, but they just make me look fat. In mat clothes, I seem to look bigger and more pregnant.
Are you wearing normal clothes still?

BTW- I can relate to what you are saying though! Some ladies look all cute and the only place they are chubby is in their belly. Unfortunately, not all of us are like that! I do feel beautiful preggo, but I know I am not one of the "cute" ones!

i know it sucks, but at least if you dont get a bump like that till later, you will have less saggy skin and stretch marks to worry about!! without a pic im not sure what else to say either!

Don't worry...you'll be showing soon enough. And by the time you're eight months you're going to be crying to have your old body back!!

You shouldnt worry what you look like you should be excited to be having a baby. I think its a miracle to have a baby because there are a lot of women in this world who cannot have babies. Always think of your baby, when its born, and how you are going to care for it and I guarantee you that you wont care how you look as long as you get to see your baby.
