I'm pretty much about to do that with my MIL.  I was thinking of changing our cell numbers because Nathan is 4 months and she hasn't called once to see how he is.  I just wrote a whole thing about it in FFA.  lol.  I want to tell her that she can either be in his life or j ust forget we exist but I don't know if that is a good idea lol.  I want to protect him from being hurt by her playing favorites.

I just read it. My MIL is the same way...wicked long story but I would just be blunt with her and tell her your thoughts

most people would go ahead and just not speak to the father, or if she felt she or the baby were truly in danger, she would have sought a restraining order against the father.

How is the baby in danger if he was emotionally abusive to her. GET OUT OF THE SITUATION. You don't have to FAKE THE DEATH of your child. It's seriously a sick situation, and I hope she never has to experience anything bad with her child's health.

lol I dont get her either? wtf. She can leave but he should still know about his kid. When her baby is older its going to resent her...?? weird.

I agree. Ive had 5 losses, we've been trying nearly 4 years for a healthy term pregnancy, so i know ALL about wanting to protect your child. About praying night and day and being willing to do anything just to keep your baby safe, happy and healthy. Yes i would do anything to protect my childs life, but i would never fake its death and make its life a misery. That child will grow up to hate her for it, let alone the poor child she has already. Its immoral and wrong. Ive already said it like a million times on this post, theres other ways, normal ways, ways that will actually help the child instead of destroying an hurting everybody else in the process. And we arent even beginnning to touch on the fact she was wishing death, stillbirth and m/c on other women in this post. Really, the whole thing is just a sick mess. We gave advice that she needs to find a safe alternative that is best for the children involved. That's nothing but appauling that her mother is in on the act, really very worrying.I have soo had enough of this post, time to hit the delete button!

adding my 2 cents.. here but for all its worth I dont think you have made the right descions, you only going to be 18 and a single mother of 2 kids with 2 differents dads? Than you making this crazy story about losing your baby and how your not wanting to deal with stress.. well hon, You just made all this stress youself. I knw.. I was 24 yrs old with 2 kids when i got divorced and I'll tell you wha having 2 kids and beging a single parents is awhole lot harder than beging a single parent to one child. Plus yor wanting to go back to school who will be watching you kids? your right youdon;t need a man but you'll need the support to get thru all this and if his family is willing to help you than you need to let them.And by lying and making up stuff your just going to make it worse for yourself. You need to sit back and really think about what your doing to your son and this baby.. this is no long about you. Lying about your unborn baby's death i only going to make things worse.
