TMI...

OKay, I had my son 6 weeks ago by C-section. While in the hospital the nurse told me that bleeding was normal [duh] but if it smelled funny to tell them because it could be a sign of infection. When i was in the hospital everything was fine. But now that im out and doing better it kinda, smells.  
Its almost like a period smell but worse. And im still beleding, but not a lot. And not everyday. Its more of a orange colored stuff. I dont know if its an infection or if its normal? 
Anyone heard of this or had it??

I think you should call and ask your doctor, my friend had smiliar things and ended up being a slight infection.

I was planning on asking, but i totally forgot about my 6 week app.     So now i have to wait another week...
I just hate smelling. Its really awkward and almost makes me sick sometimes.

All I can say is maybe you should put neosporin on it to see if that helps it any? If so it's probably an infection.

I would call an advice nurse or something. Why do you have to wait until next week? Bad smells are usually a sign of infection or STD but in your case i'm sure an infection. Good luck mama!

I have to wait cause my doctors actual office is like an hour away, so i see him at a clinc thats closer to me and hes only there once a week.

At first i just figured it was white discharge mixed with blood....

I would get that checked out as soon as you can. Smell is never good, it means there is some kind of imbalance...whether it be yeasts or infection. I hope you feel better!

You are talking about bleeding as in vaginal bleeding not C-section scar right?

It does smell like lochia (after birth) its a horrid stench , but it goes away after 2-6 weeks - sometimes a little longer.

Yay, that answers a question for me and I didn't even have to ask. The bleeding I've had is light and it has an icky smell to it, and yes it smells worse than a period. I've just assumed it was normal because it's smelt like this since it started.
