Actually those results are skewed, the reason it states older mums is because of IVF, not because of natural, the fact is younger women are more likely to naturally conceive multiples. And yes I know the odds, there is a long list of multiples within my family, I was a twin but my mother miscarried the other one and thus only I made it to term, she was 17 at the time, my cousin has healthy triplets, she was 20 when she conceived, 2 of them are identical and one fraternal, my other cousin has 2 sets of identical twins, the first being conceived when she was 17 and that is just my generation, the list of multiple births within side of the family can be traced back 4 generations and so far I am the only female within my family not to have had a multiple pregnancy, but out of my many pregnancies and 4 children that have resulted none have been a multiple.

Yeah it is rare and most of the time now people will consider selective abortions to diminish the number because of the inherent dangers, to mother and babies.

Wrong-o brainiac.
Older woman have a natural higher incidence of mulitiple births, as do taller women, women of African descent and those with a family history of natural fraternal multiples.

No she wouldn't. Even with three the babies are still the size of peas. I knew someone who had quads and she still didn't start showing until the second tri.

Ok so how do you not know she is not a female with a history of multiples and thus higher than average chance of carrying multiples? You jumped down this route and then debunk your own logic by showing instances where it is of higher likelihood. And even if she were not it still happens, that is why it is a 1 in XXXX chance, because for every xxxx number of pregnancies 1 will be a multiple, what was the statistic 1 in 8000 and something, do you know how many women in the world get pregnant every single day? So by that logic there are a few who will get pregnant with multiples. But anyway thi sis in danger of becoming a debate and that is not what you are here for is it sugar tits, you're here to call names and be obnoxious and you do it so very well, so do continue with your cliqued behaviour.

I wouldn't be discussing the plausibility of this situation if I wasn't here to debate, dust ruffle.

That's a new one.. and if you were here to debate you wouldn't be throwing around insults (though I use the term loosely, dust ruffle is hardly insulting, though nor is it flattering). You wouldn't be making light of abortion and just all around generally being a bit of a twit, oh and biggest hint that you are not here to debate that this is not now nor was it posted originally posted in D&D. If you were here to debate that is where you would be, though I doubt you do quite so well in there because rarely does anyone get patted on the back for being an idiot in D&D the way one does in TDC.

I was being facetious, it wasn't intended to be an insult or flattery but a play on the diminutive pet names.
"Making light" is often how I often broach sensitive topics. Some call it a morbid sense of humor, I just call it funny.
This wasn't even in TDC when I began posting.
Who is the one who came in here only after it was in TDC? Not I, said the fly. ;)

I need a new hobby, some of you ladies are so uptight, you just don't get my brand of humor at all.

Oh I fully admit I come in to TDC just to be annoying, I am very good at being annoying. I get your sense of humour, in a good thread I probably would have laughed at it but I don't find it appropriate in here, and anyway there were far more than just little ol' you in here being out of order, you are just the only one to have bitten.

I never venture into TDC unless I'm in a thread that gets sent there. Was I having a bit of fun at this girl's expense? Surely I was but if you ever see me post on anything else that's just what I do (have fun with not necessarily make fun of, there is a difference IMO). 9x out of 10 I am cracking jokes and being sarcastic even if it's a serious topic. I'm not always inappropriate but I am constantly talking (typing in this case haha) in a jokingly manner.

Does it matter if you believe she is telling the truth or not? No. That is why it is moddable to call people fake with zero proof.

I'm only 20, 5'2, not of African descent, and with no history of natural fraternal multiples on my side of the family. Does that automatically mean I'm lying about being pregnant my 1st pregnancy with twins?
