No i totally get where you are coming from. My SO and i aren't married either and I'm a SAHM so he makes all the money. we still treat it as if it's our money and both have a say in it. that's the way it should be. My MIL drives me nuts too

If you didn't read it all the way as i saying to the other girl I do work! And getting upset for how the money is spent is a very big concern. Meaning we have our OWN expenses, i didn't say he shouldn't give it to her. I mean you all said it, he's going to have the final say.

Are your bills being paid? If so there shouldnt be an issue. Is in no way your money.

I'm not bashing you for being 17 - I got pregnant at 19, I'm bashing you for being so concerned about money that is not yours in any shape or form going to matters designated by the person who earns them.

I totally agree! If you are in a committed long term relationship, living together and sharing expenses then All Financial decisions should be a mutual decision. And no I don't think he should be giving her money just so she can go and blow it on stupid smurf on not use it towards her home. She's a grown ass woman if she's not disabled or handicapped then she needs to get off her ass and get a job. His responsibility now is his own home and family nobody else's. Yes it's nice and fine to give parents money and help out when they need it but if she's as irresponsible as you say she is then giving her handouts is just going to make her even more lazy and irresponsible.
