Best way to figure your LP is by charting, and it may take a couple cycles of charting to see the pattern. I've been charting for years now and know that my average LP is 13 days.

Luteal phase is the time after ovulation until AF starts. "Average" is 14 days, but normal is anything from 11-17 days, not normal is anything over 17 days for several weeks in a row or anything less than 11 days for several weeks in a row.

The luteal phase is much more likely to regular and close to 14 days. It's the follicular phase thar varies.
