allergic to mosquito bites

When my DD gets bit, they turn red and are at least an inch and a half big. And where the bite is it looks puss is in it. She also itches most of them till they scab. My mom says she's allergic to them.

My question is, if your LO is allergic what do you to prevent them from getting bit, and if they do what do you put on them?

Bug spray.

My SIL just took my 3 yr old nephew in cause he got bit all over but on the eye lid specifically and his eye was swollen shut for days but all of his bites were about that size. They gave her an epi pen and said to just make sure he never goes outside without off spray

Oh man, my youngest goes to their doctor Thursday. She always asks me about bailee so imma tell her about them and she what she says. They just get so big and hot, and she complains about having owwies

i myself is allergic to them...always have been as i got oldr theyd swell to a quarter size of my leg around...the spiders were even worse. we always used bug spray to try and prevent it but when it happened we used benadryl or caladryl for them

My son, SO and I are all allergic to mosquito bites.

We use SSS (Skin So Soft) oil or lotion from Avon to ward the commie bastards off. lol

ETA: If we do get bit, we use calamine lotion or Benadryl.
