Toddler hernia?

My son recently has been having an unpleasant time with diaper changes. He does not like being wiped, especially around his groin area. I thought maybe it was normal, but came across a possible explanation. Have any of you had sons with a hernia in their groin area? What was done to fix/help it? I'm going to call his pedi tomorrow.

Sean was born with one and had it operated on at 3.
He was fine, just has Frankenstein balls now

Frankenstein balls? Hahah. I hope so. I'm hoping it's just nothing, but he is really starting to fit me with these diaper changes.

And yeah haha, huge scar down the middle of them....20 years later.

have you thought about potty training? my son is 2years 3months old and has been potty trained for almost 3 months now. i used the 3 day potty training book and it was really easy.

He really hasn't showed interest. We're just about to move, so we'll be transitioning him to a toddler bed as well. We were going to wait until we're settled.

my son wasnt really showing any signs other then being curious about his potty chair. but if ur about to move id wait til u moved. i can email you the book if ud like

My son was born with his hydracele open, which formed into a hernia. He was 15/16 months with he had the surgery to repair it. It was more traumatic for me than him. It's about 30-45 minutes with a 3-5 day healing time..
