Sneezing after csection

posted 26th Jun '12
Sooo... Im 9 days pp and I just sneezed for the first time.... Ouch!

But I was wondering how likely is it for sneezing or coughing to do any damage to your internal stitches that long after surgery. I feel silly asking since this was my third csection but I'm still paranoid about it.

Yep. You'll be okay but yeah, omg... awful pain!! Did you press a pillow to it? That helps a little.

it could happen.. but it's rare.

use a small pillow to brace your stomach when you cough, sneeze, laugh etc..
