I'm not sure yet. I have thought about home schooling them. But I have years to decide. If the schools don't get better than I pry will. Unless we can afford a private school.

Ds could start this year but i plan on keeping him home due to the fact he will be wearing foot braces and if they fail he will get surgery .

I don't even know what a Waldorf school is.

My son will be 4 in july and he is starting in sept. Its only 5hrs a day 2 days a wk.. I basically just wanna get him prepared for kindergarten and thats what this school focuses on.. I picked it becuz of that & becuz its also a christian based school. Plus it really helped that it was the cheapest lol.. Alot of them whre 200/wk and I said forget that!!!

We've been on a waiting list here for... like 10 months. Just got the call a few days ago saying that they've found a place for my oldest and my youngest (3 in november) is #6 on the waiting list

Right. I would like to get Violet into a more school based setting. She LOVES to learn! And it'll be good practice.

I'm in love with Waldorf. Even though it's a commute we still might do it. I would be working to solely pay for the boys' tuition.

Montessori is very structured and true Montessori classrooms only uses didactic materials and discourages fantasy play, it is very teacher led.

High Scope, Reggio Emilia and Emergent curriculum are just a few curriculum that are child led with endless amounts of open-ended materials to allow creativity.

So it all depends on what you are looking for in a preschool.
