well formula will make acid reflux worse for her. That is one of the reason I am making sure to breastfeed the full year rather than switching b/c Harper has severe acid reflux. I have also had to watch some things that I eat b/c that too can bother her. Also ask for Levson drops for colic that stuff works great!

breastfeeding, if you can do it, absolutely can help all of those things. lots of kiddos have bad reactions to formula (like reflux, colic, allergies, etc).

may i ask the reason for the formula?

I switched to formula a month after having my son, and had nothing but problems. We never had problems with the breast milk. Almost a week after switching to Formula he developed reflux, and we were having problem keeping weight on him..

try to latch her on as often as possible to help bring in a good supply. I always woke my babies every 2 to 3 hours including at night the first two weeks to build up a good supply then after that I let then sleep when needed. And your prolactin levels are at the highest between 1 and 5 am. If you have a pump maybe feed and pump (1 hour after a feeding). Within 24 to 48 hours you should see a difference in your supply.
