:( help

So friday my hcg levels were in the 13,ooo's and yesterday (Monday) they were only in the 17,ooo's..Now my np called and told me she doesnt think the pregnancy is good and healthy.My levels should be in the 30,000's..  Im very worried but I have noticed when I googled hcg elvels it says my number is in the normal range so Im confused..Help me please!!

Its in the right range, yes, but your numbers should at least double every 48hrs, and if theyre not, thats indicative of an issue...

Why are they monitoring them? I have never had my hcg level monitored! It is supposed to double every 48hrs though.

I would have another hcg test done in 48 hours just to make sure. With Harper mine was 22 then 48 hours later was 66 and then so forth. With my first it was 15000 at 5 weeks so 30,000 is alittle ridiculous to say unless you are several weeks along.

Right!!I just dont understand it but it could be that they are monitoring me where I had a miscarriage in January   But Ive also recently been diagnosed with chronic iron deficiency anemia and my blood levels are suppose to be a certain number and they are 6.9 and 22 the ER wanted to transfuse me I was too afraid and left AMA.But now am taking an iron supplement on top of my prenatal.

That's low, I'd want to do a transfusion too!!

Idk what the normal is..Im just exhausted and feel dizzy 24/7 and I have 11 kids who need me to be alive!!And I gotta do whats right for the baby in utero (hoping it sticks) and for my others and myself..

oh my I don't know how you do it with 11 kids! I am so exhausted with just 2 and then you have severe anemia on top of that

Yea I know thank you it is hard!!!But gotta do it and my eldest helps out alot!!

That is great that your oldest helps like that! Well I hope you get some more answers with you blood work. Like I said I would have blood work one more time just to see if there is a difference in the numbers.

Normal hemoglobin is 12-16 this is the component in your blood that carries oxygen to your vital organs (this is why you are dizzy) and your growing baby!


Normal hematocrit is 38-46 this is your red blood cells

Well today we see a baby on u/s with a heartbeat of 110 so hope alls well..My levels didnt go up much more but they say the pregnancy is vital
