Adipex??

Has anyone taken it? What qualified you to get it? I have an appointment tonight to see if I eve qualify for it :/

I didn't know you had to qualify for it...a friend of mine is on it and she's lost 25 lbs in a month.

I want to try it after I have my son, but I'm pretty sure they won't let me have it because of my thyroid being messed up. Or that's what everybody says anyway?

Yah I've read you can't take it with thyroid problems

You have to have a certain BMI and have medical issues or at risk for medical issues.

I was prescribed it because of my back problems, RA and SLE. They said my back issues were from my weight but ha! Jokes on them 'cause I lost over 50lbs and I still have a bad back.

Also, they're only prescribed short-term.

My BMi is 30   yucky

I LOVE adipex. I lost about 50 pounds in about 6 weeks with it. Long before I ever got married and had kids. Gave me energy, I loved it. I'd love to take it again. I just can't justify spending so much on it.

It IS easy to get addicted to them and it's easy to overdo it. And you have to drink a ton of water on them.

I guess what qualified me was just plain out my weight. I'm considered obese. I don't *feel* obese because I'm pretty tall, but I'm considered it.

I have a high BMI too. It's around that...at least the last I checked.
