What else could he possibly need?

posted 8th May
We are on a VERY tight budget and I think we really only need a few more things, a Crib Mattress , the bed set, a bottle warmer, and we are going to change the advent bottles do to that whole chemical thing(rather safe than sorry later). We recieved all the other big things at the shower, High chair, Crib, Changing table, Bouncer, Jumperoo, Bather, Breastpump, Travel System. We have alot of Medical Kits and Sheets. I am STILL Scared we are missing alot, Anything you noticed I am forgetting would be a Great Help. Thank you.

We have a changing pad and Bassinet is a borrower. Nursing pillow, may come in handy(Thanks), and are baby slings helpful/nessisary at all?

Believe me when I say....you are starting off with alot more than most. You probably wont even get a chance to use most of it. And if you are tight on funds....skip the bottle warmer. I never evenused mine

I work at the Children's Place and I see moms coming in with them all the time. The babies all seem to like them too...usually they'll be sleeping. I think it'd be useful also around the house, i have a snugli but i want like a cloth sling like a maya wrap or something

A bath thermometer, to make sure the bath is the right temp... we made that mistake....and didnt realise why he hated the bath...
Not essentials but certainly a help are-
An anti roll pillow, the sort that supports the bub and stops them rolling over in bed.
Awaterproofer for the mattress?
A monitor?
A playgym/play mat.
A bouncer/swing.
A sling/baby carrier.
Bottle steriliser.
A bottle warmer for the car if you take long trips... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Brand-New-PLAYGRO-Warm-and-Go-Insulated-Bottle-Warmer_W0QQitemZ310048883675QQihZ021QQcategoryZ20404QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Wow you have TONS of things already...but if your still looking into possible other things then there is always a mobile, bumpers, a musical soother(they attach to the side of the crib- not sure on the exact name for them), diaper stacker, organizer, diaper bag, monitor, baby towels and face clothes, microwavable steamer/purifier, andtoy box (if it's a 1st baby for the whole family then the toys/teddies seem to multiply quickly)...some of these obviously aren't neccessities but are nice to have...hope this helps!  Congrats on the new addition too!

I've used my baby sling about a dozen times already...and Kylie isn't even 3 weeks yet.
