I would have pronounced it as Mah - kay - yah, thats how it looks anyway! but then if it doesnt bother you either way its all good, i know that one from personal experience lol

I like them both especially the girls name its very pretty.my daughters name is similar hers is Makalyn pronounced mu kay lyn..but I like the one you chose very cute...

i still till this day have tospell outmy name trisha for people it doesn't bother me, it happens all the time, its actually a pretty common thing for people to have to pronounce their names and spell them out. well in eugene the hippie city i'm from its really common. but ya i understand what she means..now. and for some people it might be a bother but you get used to it after years of it. lol

oh i do andi'm a big beleiver in everybodys intitled to their own opinion so it doesn't bother me at all, different people, different opinions it works out best that way.

ya of course everyone is entitiled to their own opinion...but what im saying is ignore the negative ones and go with the name.meaning dont let what they say affect your choice in a name.if thats what you truly like as a name use it...

definantly, i had these names picked out since like 6 and a half weeks and i still haven't changed my mind and nothings gonna make me, i even looked in baby books to make sure i didn't want different names and there was nothing i wanted more then the ones i picked.
