How long did it take for you to be comfortable with sitting and walking for long periods and such?

The first 2-3 days were awful. I could barely move the morning after I delivered my daughter. I felt normal within a week, though.

About two days after I came home from the hospital, so 4 days after the birth of my daughter.

Thanks. I need mine repaired and mine hurt like hell, came out and were tight and itchy. It hurt so bad just to sit down. I'm wondering how long I will need off work bc I sit for 8 hours and I think sitting is what pulled mine out

Man I am dreading it.

I can't remember did you deliver in Huntsville or is that someone else and if so who is your doctor if you don't mind me asking. If I was you I would take at least 2 weeks off if you are having a repair to give yourself plenty of time to lay around and let things heal correctly.

Sitting and walking was pretty miserable for a while but it didn't feel "normal" for about 6 weeks. Going to the bathroom was the worst! SO SCARY!! lol

Maybe you could see if they did your surgery on like a thurs or friday so you will start off with the weekend (that is given you are off on the weekends) and that way you won't have to take too much time without pay.

Yea I was going to do that but I have enough for 5 days off and with off days that is 9 total. I can't just take off without having Fmla or vacation though or I will get fired
