high blood pressure

i went to an regular doc checkup yesterday and my blood pressure was high so they sent me to the hospital.when i got to the hospital it was in the 150s they wanted it in the 120s and it got there... plus i was have contractions but i did feel them..the doc told me they where practice contractions i have never heard of that befor.. any info from anyone would help thanks..

If you don't feel the contractions they are considered braxton hicks. They are usually not strong enough to dilate your cervix but they are conditioning your uterus for delivery.
