When to take her back to the docs?

Cora was diagnosed with Hand Foot Mouth Disease on saturday

She hasn't vomited since 10Am saturday, no fever since 8PM sunday.

But now she has a wicked cough and a runny runny nose. She is whiny and miserable. Her eyes are watery too.

I confess, I'm having a hard time keeping my patience with her.

So when would you take a kid back to the docs? Obviously I'm not talking about taking her to the ER or aftercare tonight.


I don't think this is HFMD anymore either. I don't even know if Cora even had HFMD to begin with. She never got blisters on her hands or feet, just in her throat.

It really sounds like she probably feels terrible. Was she put on any kind of antibiotics? I would probably take her in, but that's me.

hfmd is a virus so no antibiotics

That's what I was unsure about.

I would call and just see what they say.

I would make another appointment, ask them to test her for strep

they did on saturday. it was negative

I had this same problem with Mariah. Did they do the quick result or the 3 day culture?
