Parental pedophilia is widespread: 23 percent of children with a lesbian mother reported having been touched sexually by a parent or adult, compared to 2 percent of those raised by biological parents.

Rape is rampant: 31 percent of children raised by a lesbian mother and 25 percent raised by a homosexual man report that they were forced to have sex against their will, compared to 8 percent from intact families.

Sexually transmitted disease (STD) is epidemic: over 20 percent of those brought up by two women and 25 percent raised by two men reported having contracted an STD, compared to 8 percent from natural families.

Suicidal tendencies are startling: 24 percent of children raised by homosexual men and 12% of children raised by lesbian mothers admitted to having recently contemplated suicide, compared to 5 percent of those raised by biological parents or even a single parent.

So... what say you?

I don't believe it at all, I've read dozens of other studies (as well as covered this subject in a college course) and it turns out that on average, gay couples are MUCH better parents than heterosexual couples.

it's the first time i'm hearing anything like that at all, honestly.

And I think these studies are skewed....like the rape one, it makes a comparison with "intact" families.....as in living with their biological mother AND father.....so they didn't even compare single parents, or blended families etc.

And with a US divorce rate of nearly 50% it leaves a lot of family types out of that portion of the study.

Tables 2-4 has the results of the finding.

Why does it keep saying gay vs. biological... are these adopted kids they're talking about? If so, they should be comparing adopted kids in gay homes and heterosexual homes, not kids adopted to gays vs. biological children of hetero couples.

The Westermark effect would account for the stats indicating there's less sexual abuse among biological families and more among step families or adopted families.

1. Step Family
2. IVF
3. Surrogate
4. Adoption.

I think its nonsense. And also funny coming from a lesbian mother who was raised by mother and father they did more damage to me mentally physically emotionally then i ever will to my boys sexual orientation has nothing to do with how us "gays" raise our children
