2nd Middle Name?

ok, Shawn and I have decided that our baby boy is going to be named Kayden Christopher, we are definitely stuck on that but I wanted to add my father's name into it so we were going to add a second middle name - Steven. So it would be Kayden Christopher Steven Sard. Well I'm on the phone with my mom and she informs me that my father's name was never Steven, it was always Steve. It actually says Steve on his birth and death certificate. Ugh we were so stuck on that! So I still want to have his name but Kayden Christopher Steve? I don't like that one bit, and neither does Shawn, so any suggestions? O and to remind you Kayden Christopher is not changing whatsoever. Thanks ladies!

Just stick with Steven. It still has your father's name in it, but it makes the flow better. I'm sure your father would understand. Good luck! xD

I also named my son's second middle name after my father. Cameron Joseph Vernon Ruecker. The thing is I usually have only used his first middle name with just about everything. So my suggestion would be to go ahead and name him after your father if that is what you want but Steven does still have Steve in it so your still kind off naming him after your father that way also.

I too wanted to make my father apart of his 1st grandson but we unfortionantly have a severely long last name containing 13 letters! so We took my Maiden name which is "Parker" and since everyone calls me father by his last name anyways we decided on parker as his middle name Owen Parker Higg******** lol!

You could always just make it an initial...I know that sounds alittle silly but, I think Kayden S. Christopher Sard sounds ok! I have a close guy friend whose name is Andrew P. *last name* (His parents couldn't decided on Peter or Paul.) So his middle name is just the letter P with a (.)

Our daughter has 2 middle names...well, one name that is hyphenated...Caris-Lynn. If you are dead set on using all 3 names then go for it...Kayden Christopher Steve Sard...doesn't sound bad IF you pause after Kayden, and then say Christopher Steve like it's one name...(Does that make sense!? LOL It does in my brain) The name is also a bit of a tongue twister with the double "C' and "S" sounds!

I plan on doing something similar. I plan on having 2 first names with NO hypenation or anything. And one middle name. I do like Steven. Even if you choose to use Steven, it is still for your father and in memory of him.
