Does it really do that?!?!?!

Me and my hubby have been together for about a year n a half. He is in the military full time. so hes constantly gone! 2 weeks before he had to report in at Ft. Sill OK (9 hours away from me) i found out i was pregnant. I haven't seen him for 3 1/2 months now and they are going to let him have a 3 day pass and i'm going to go down and see him. Only problem is i'm 7 months along and dialated at 1/2 a centameter and already been in labor once. My mom is freaking out that if i have sex i'll dialate and go into labor again. Could it really happen? after he reports back in he wont be home til 2 weeks before the baby is born. So i'd basically go 6 months with no sex..and pregnant! any advice?

did your doc tell you no sex?

if not then ask before you go.

If you are already dialated and at risk of preterm labor then its best to stay away from sex. If you do then atleast use a condom because the semen can dialate the cervix if its already started.

yep that's what i was about to suggest too...if no sex then at least make him do other things for you and you the same...just a suggestion.

ok i am confused, you found out right before her left havent seen him in 3 months so that makes you around 3-4 months pg, then you say your 7 months and then say there will 6 months without sex and preggers how does that work? how far are you

I had sex at 39 weeks and had my son that night. Given i was 2cm dilated when i had sex.. i got to the hospital 4 hours later and was 6 cm dilated! had him by 9am in the morning.

i think she's counting the 3 1/2 mos. that she's already been without.

Well, I might be able to shine some light on this:

She hasnt "seen" him in 3 1/2 months and she is 7 months pregnant so she might have seen him 3 1/2 month back for a visit or something. Like she found out she was pregnant, went to see him when she was about 3 1/2 months along and now is wanting to see him again at 7 months.

idk..but maybe she was 3 mos when he left she found out 2 wks later making it 3 1/2 mos...now 31/2 mos later she is 7 mos....

3 1/2 mos of not seeing him plus the 2-3 mos left in her pregnancy would make it around 6 mos without sex.

excuse the hell outta me for being confused, so i asked i didnt assume anything that would be why i stated that i was confused and asked about it, and yes i got answers so i am not confused anymore, thank you very much
