40 weeks 2 days membrane sweep!

Hi   I am 40 weeks 2 days and this afternoon I had a membrane sweep done. It didn't hurt exactly but it was weird. I bled a fair bit afterwards, it's now slowed down to a pink tinge on the toilet paper when I wipe. Earlier tonight though I had some pink discharge, and some jelly like dark red stuff come out. It wasn't much, but do you think it might be a little show? I've had period like pain in both my tummy and back, am a very stretchy 2 cm and 50% effaced. I'm hoping it will jump start things but Bub will only come when she's good and ready lol. I've been on my yoga ball for a couple of hours tonight and just got some lovin' from the boyfriend. Will be walking tomorrow & if she's not here by Friday I get another sweep. Monday will be my induction, but id love for baby to come before that needs to happen. A long pointless post I know but I'm feeling chatty lol  

I hope it works for you! I had a sweep done at 40+3 and I was 80% effaced and 2cm dialated and all it did was cause the mucusy discharge however mine wasnt bloody. Im now 9 days overdue and going for induction at 6 am tomorrow morning. I wanted to get some loving time in to see if it would help but my husband is stubborn and wierded out because my daughter is so low he swears he is going to poke her in the head lol. Silly I know.
