preemie questions

my daughter was born at 34wks, she is 5months now, i just want to make sure im doing things right and its nice to get advice from other mothers. Is my daughter on schedule, she is just laying on her tummy and lifts her head at 90degrees and can hold it there, she does not reach for toys nor want anything to do with them, shes always sleeping, 3hr naps 4-5xs a day and sleeps all night 9pm to 7am, if anything i have a pretty easy baby, but i just want to make sure that shes doing ok and nothing is wrong or is she just doing her own thing?

Sounds pretty normal. Mine was early too and he was doing about the same at 5 months. Can she roll over yet? If not she probably will soon. I think Angel started reaching for toys around 5-6 months so that may be coming soon.

My preemie was also 34wks he is now 10mths and just now starting to crawl. She will get it sooner then u think. What part of ohio do u live in? Have thought about Help me Grow?

I'd say she's doing fine. My 2month old was a 35 weeker and still won't sleep through the night.

I live in lake county. Where did you have your baby I had him at Rainbows the did refered to me to them it a program that sees if your child need extra help with rolling over and things like u are talking about i dont have the 1-800 # for u did u use wic they may have a number for u to call

Help me grow is amazing! my son was 9 weeks early hes 4 months old now and they help alot! They check them out and make sure they are growing all right. my help me grow lady said that they are pretty much just another pair of eyes to watch development since doctors dont have alot of time to check things like that.

My son was born 5 weeks and 6 days early. His doctor told me to expect a month and and a half delay but he will be caught up by age two.

I liked help me grow for those same reasons but some of the doctors and specialists irritated me because my daughter was developing skills faster than they thought she should. For the most part though, it is nice to have an extra set of eyes on your babe.
