I quite like the name Danielle

Just because you know people named Danielle doesn't mean that you are naming your daughter after that person.

Pick a name you like, I guarantee there is someone else living around you that has the same name.

if you want to name your kid after your husbands friend, then use Daniel and Danielle.... if it has a reason behind it, it shouldnt matter that someone else has the name, you know?

i personally wouldnt name a kid after a friend, but thats just me

It's a name... and a pretty one... and it's not that uncommon.... you're going to find a lot of people with that name.

Nah, my name is Audrey Sarah and my ex's cousin named her daughter Audrey Sofia. It wasn't "after me", she just liked the name. I laughed about it once that she must really love me, but everyone knew it was just a joke.


If someone you know is named the same and they joke about you naming your daughter after her, just laugh back and don't get all pissy about it!
