i went on wed the 7th and i was 2cm dialted and 60% efaced. but i agree i feel like shit TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was due may 5th, got induced on the 6th at 8am and had my little boy at 12:21pm he is perfect.

Why is everyone getting induced?!?! im due the 16th, i have a kidney stone and my whole back aches. but they still wont induce me, i feel like crying every morning i wake up. Im so sick of being pregnant. I just want to see my lil girl already.

don't be so jealous some people don't have good experiences with inductions so I know it sounds glamorous but don't be jealous.

I kno like people that arent due till the 30th and stuff are being induced...i dont get it. lol. i kno theres medical issues usually but geez! may moms are being induced left and right!

I didn't get induced I just went a few days early lol and my experience sucked even without an induction, but my doctor did want to induce on the 5th because he didn't want me going past my due date, I even declined the induction and said it would never happen, had I not went early.

I'm being induced on Tuesday also...I'm not due until May 23rd, but my baby boy is really big...she thinks he is close to 9 lbs already so she wants to help me deliver him early, before he gets too big...Of course I am ALL for it...I too am tired of the aches and pains and being uncomfortable, not sleeping, etc...lol... but I am sooo ready and good or bad I wish I was being induced today...LOL... I go in Monday night so they can put the stuff in my cervix and then Tuesday morning, she is going to induce me.

I forgot to mention that I went to the Dr about a month ago and was dialated to 1cm...went back today and am 2 cm, but my cervix is still pretty thick so don't think anything will happen before Tuesday...=(

i wish they would induce me too!! i am so huge with these two babies and i am at 37 weeks already....i feel like shit and i just wanna hold my baby girls!

I hate when she starts moving all over now because there is nooo room. If you want to wiggle around get your chunky baby ass out of me belly and do it in my arms instead!!!

I wish I had an induction date but I heard that can increase chances for a c-section and make labor more difficult.
As of the 2nd my cervix is soft and the OB can feel his head but that's it! She didn't even check me on the 7th because she expects me to be late since it's my first. That really frustrating to hear. He's also expected to be 7 1/2 lbs so hopefully labor won't be too difficult!
Congrats to all the May Mommies that had their babies! As for the rest of us...soon, very soon!

OMG right now I dont care how it happens. I just want it to happen lol.
I have a feeling she wont be coming out until they cut me open and yank her out anyways so I dont care how it goes I just want to be unpregnant and have my little shy princess.

My GBS turned out negative, but despite what my midwife told me last time she didn't strip my membranes yesterday. Aw. I was a little disappointed but sucked it up--she assured me she'd do it next week (or the doctor that sees me next week would, seeing as I couldn't get an appointment with her for my 38w). I'll be asking to set up an induction date on the 26th if baby's not out by then--I know I wanted a natural, med-free birth but honestly it's ridiculous when I can't even put my toddler in Time Out because he can knock me over when he runs past. Hah.
