sell your breast milk?
a friend of mine ran into me the other day and we had a full blown conversation about anything and everything you can think of. HAHA!
She asked how LO was eating and i told her BF and supplemented with formula.
She explained to me that a co worker of hers just had a baby but didn't want to breastfed her own child :O! she said the woman went on to explaining to her how frustrating she felt it was and how she just didn't feel any bonding experience from it. So she's been trying to look for someone to sell her ounces of breast milk at a time..
Im guessing the woman lost her supply and can't pump it neither? I D K but the whole crap had my mouth open like WHATT..
So just to be nosey i had to ask how much is she willing to pay..
My friend said she had not a clue but would ask just to see lol.
SO how much would you charge for a few ounces of your BM to help a lazy mother (JK) but seriously how much would you charge?
i say for two ounces of my Breast milk i need at least $$$150.00 lol

If I was in a position where I could provide that for a child, I would want to donate it.

I was looking into donating mine because I produced so much that I would feed her, then have to pump and could get at least 4 ounces more each time. I had a deep freezer that was completely full of breast milk that ended up getting thrown out. My grandmother was a wet nurse back in the day.

My daughterwas born at 31 weeks and was given donor breastmilk in the NICU until my supply came in. It was weird when they first asked my permission but then they explained all the benefits for her and the smurf all the milk donors had to go through to actually be a donor I agreed.
