When can I eat? & When does risk of dry socket go away?

I got my wisdom teeth out last monday morning.. So it will be a week tomorrow! & all I have ate is mashed potatos, apple sauce, pudding, scrambled egg, ice cream, & tomato soup! im over it!! When can I go get a freaking double cheeseburger & fry if I want to?? I have been so scared of a dry socket!!! I havent a cigg since last sunday is it fine I smoke one in the morning? My extractions feel fine.. the bottom right still has a lil weird feeling with an ache here & there! & my jaw hurts only when I yawn..

You can eat whatever you want, when you can tolerate it.

Dry socket risk is damn near gone. I wouldn't even think twice about it now

See thats what freaks me out.. why is damn near gone.. I thought I was good after a week.. but according to a few sites.. its actually a few weeks! UGH!

Eat whatever. Just rinse your mouth, and dont drink from a straw.

you could of eaten regular food the nest day just rinse with salt water after i got mine out wednesday and ate steak the next night

Dry socket isn't a big deal. You go back to the dentist and they pack it. Yes it can hurt but it's not something to be paranoid over

my friend ate steaks and chips the 2nd day! im just so paranoid i went to go eat ramen noodles the 3rd day and an effin noodle got stuck so far in my hole I had to go get them to remove it.. and ever sicne i have been terrified!

Everyone who I know who has gotten dry socket has gotten it 24-48 hours after the tooth being pulled.

I think I was eating normally the next day. But I only had one lower wisdom tooth out

She is clearly a tad paranoid, I've seen her post about dry sockets about half a dozen times lmao.

okay thanks!   my bottom right just feels weird like I cant explain the other 3 its like they are not even there.. I look at it.. and i see its closing up but its a lil bigger than the left side and has more white stuff (that i was told was tissue)
