Shoes

posted 8th May
Yes, I know its early to be talking about shoes consider my child is still on the inside. However, my mother and I got in a heated debate about shoes for my baby. She kept mentioning that Stride Rite is where i need to go, they custom fit and have excellent shoes that really last. I went in to price check and most baby shoes were at least 45 dollars!

What do you ladies think? How much do or would you pay for shoes? I was also told the the baby is only going to be in that size for 3 months (if I am lucky)

Go to stride rite when your childs in elementary school, they have awesome shoes but sooo don't pay 45bucks for newborn shoes! get your school shoes there, they really do last quite a long time.

I don't really see the point of buying $45 baby shoes that will never be walked in...
Cheap ones would probably last as long as those would considering that they won't actually get a lot of "wear". I would just buy cute ones for special occasions I.

Oh and every baby is different....Arieanna is still in only size 3, shes been in 3s for months and she still has plenty of room. She was in 2's for EVER! I men it depends if ur child feet will grow fast or not because Arie's did not. I spent 40.00 on Nike Shox that lasted her for months,I think I got my moneys worth. Her Pumas wre only 35.00 and she will have them for MONTHS to come. Her Jordans are 40.00 some but totally worth it too, she still doesnt even fit them and once she does they will last. It just completely depends on what u think is right to spend on shoes...u know

My fiance and I were joking, he was yelling saying the baby's soon to be room (let get on that daddy LOL) already looks like we have a child living there so many clothes and things everywhere. My friends and family have put a small dent in bank accounts.
The other day my best friend dropped off clothes... she bought 5 outfits. Her logic was they were all so cute I couldnt pick!

When my daughter was younger (before she could walk). i would only buy her pedipeds or robbez sp? now that she is walking I will only her stride rite or see kia run. I get her shoes at the stride rite outlet. She does not walk right in any other shoe. I will spend the extra money for the best shoes. They need good shoes and support when they are just walking.

I just found some ADORABLE brand new tennis shoes at a yard sale for 25 cents. I was shocked, they're size 4's so idk when he'll be able to wear them, I don't get baby shoe sizes at all. :S
