Doctor question?

Im new to this but who am i suppose to talk to about having a water birth??... Do i go to my obgyn or find a midwife?? Cant my doctor set me up with a midwife?? Kinda be stupid if she couldnt

Your best bet would be to find your own midwife. Ask your insurance provider for a list then call around and see who does water births. There are very few places that are set up for a hospital water birth in Ohio. You'd probably want to find a midwife who does home births.

ya you would call a midwife place and ask them if theres any available. i wanted one but there wernt any available because too many babies were being born in june at the hospital i want to go to. so i suggest calling asap. i called at like 14 weeks and it was too late already

Just warning you there are very, very very few midwives that do home births in Ohio as it's essentially illegal.
