I miss him!!

My husband left today for school 3 hours away...he'll be home on the weekend but I miss him like crazy already..I am not used to being away from him, especially now with a week old baby. I feel like my heart is gonna fall, I am so anxious...I have no idea why.
Bleh..I don't know how any of you military wives do it(or other wives that have husbands that are gone a lot).

I know how you feel. My daughter is only 10 days old and SO recently deployed for the first time.

I feel much worse for you than I do for me then. I'm sorry   How long is he gone for? The national guard in my town just deployed June 6th.

Oh I think it's just as bad for you. We arent married, so at least Im not used to seeing him every day. He'll be gone for 9 months.

Ah, yeah I depend on mine for a lot of things, with a 3 year old and a new born it's hard being alone! I hope the next 9 month go by really fast for you. My cousin was one that deployed from here and he has a 6 month old baby...he's going to miss the entire next year to 18 months of his life.

The saddest part about having a husband/boyfriend who spends a lot of time away is that they miss out on seeing the kids grow up.

I feel you.   So far in the first week of LO's life I've seen DH during the day maybe twice because he works so much. But since LO wakes up every 1-2 hours we actually spend more time together in the middle of the night lol.
