should i or should i not

so my doctor said on monday that i can come in today and he will my strip membranes...........i would like my little girl to chose her own b-day but im really getting impatient ahhh i dont know what to do 

I had my branes stripped, the first time it did nothing..
The second time I went into labor two days after...

Are you uncomfortable?

Unless I was super uncomfortable I would wait until my due date and then start the whole process of stripping membranes and what not.

alot of times it does nothing, so baby does still have a say in it 

I had it done and had irregular contractions (every 7 to 10 mins)for 3 days and finally got induced, but it does work for some people, good luck!!!

see my hubby said no "cuz when u mess with nature it will make it more pain full"  i have till five i guess i really dont know what i want

I had mine stripped like a week before my daughter came, and then again three days before..... Its just like anything else towards the end, if your body's ready it can help tip you over the edge, but its not neccessarily gonna make you go into labor if you're not ready yet!   I'd go for it, it cant hurt.

This last pregnancy I had my membranes stripped 3 times before anything happened. My delivery was actually the least painful of my 4 pregnancies.

I personally think its your decision, not your husbands, after all its your body, I don't think it hurts to try, its harmless,the contraction weren't that bad, just uncomfortable, mine never got too strong which is why I didn't dialate with an induction and ended up having a c section....it might have worked if my body new how to contact lol
