I got lucky before i knew i was pregnant smoking started making me really sick and i just up and quit, they made me so sick the thought of even wanting one would make me throw up. I thank my baby for hatin them so much, it made it very easy for me.

I had the same problem. I smoked up until 6wks, and the last cig I had made me sick for 3 hours. That was the day I walked in the Breast Cancer 3-day, and it wasn't fun doing those first 6 miles, yuk! I think the fear of getting that sick again made it really easy to quit. Haven't had one since, and hope to keep it that way. After 16 years, I am glad to have that monkey off my back!

i smoked till i was8 weeksi didnt know i was pregnant..i wont lie i have had two or three more after that..its HARD to quite and im trying as hard as i can..ive been going good i havent had one since 13 weeks. and im pushing to stop for good. ive been chewing gum. or on a tooth pick. its help.

the smoke smell makes me sick now i think thats why its so easy for me not to pick one up.

good for you. It's the hardest thing you'll ever do. They compare it to quitting heroin, which I'm assuming is pretty nasty. Stick with it and tell yourself all the time what a great job you are doing. Reward your effort regularly, mani/pedi's are great ways to do that!

No I said I hadn't had an ultrasound. I'd been to the doctor, just not in awhile.

Yes!! I've got an appointment... I had the little notecard in my purse with the date b/c I can't remember my own NAME most of the time, but I took it out and put it in my jewelry box with the doctor's number and the SoonerCare ride number and the list of medications I can take. If I had had any idea that SoonerCare would provide transportation...
